Door LED's

How are Door LED's done!

Raw materials, 3mm LED's are OEM in size but are harder to produce as it requires manipulation of the oem holders and enlarging them slightly, very fiddly to do. 5mm are much easier to fit into door caps.

The workbench dining table, takes a while to produce led's its quite time consuming to make a loom of the standards you would expect for yourself.

LED, Resistor and wiring loom need to be soldered and tested.

Heat shrink is installed to protect the circuit and help weatherproof the loom, Glue gun is applied later to each led backing to either glue or ensure weather proofing. LED's can vary in intensity, so they are tested to pair them up to match them up as best as possible.

Many LED's for an install take a lot of time to produce.

Wiring from the roof light must be run from the cluster to a door, then across the car under the dash to the other door.

Each door needs the LED's glued in to weather proof them and the wiring fed behind the door lining for a neat install. Finally the looms carefully wired up together near the standard door looms for a neat iinstall.
