Having had my car for only 5 months, I was pretty upset to put a couple of scuff marks in the drivers seat and wasn't sure how to deal with it until Wax_Wizard (Mark Underwood) posted some information on a new product from Swissol called Leather Healer.
So after a call to Mark, I ordered some and luckily Mark offered to let me trial some as its a new product.
The product itself claims to be able to renovate marks and ageing in leather to "Heal" it back to a much improved state.
The Product: -
Leather healer is a leather dye requiring colour information about your interior to ensure the colour supplied is matched to the manufacturers leather colour. Swissol will make up a colour for your car if they don't already have a match.
In addition a Gloss Corrector is needed, this comes in Matt and Gloss.
Matt to remove a shine and Gloss to increase the shine.
This is applied after the Leather healer to adjust the gloss to match the rest of the leather panels.The product arrived in a 250ml bottle which doesn't sound much but only a tiny amount is needed.
The Swissol Instruction book contains instructions for all their products and is very impressive handbook.
NOTE: THE PRODUCT HAS ADDED TO IT A LEATHER SPIRIT TO ENABLE CLEANING AND A SANDING BLOCK (Explained later)
The standard TT matt black seems to go well with the anthracite F046 colour but its imperative to ensure Swissol match the colour to your cars leather. A sample may be required to ensure a correct match.
